DAV Minnesota hosted their 101st Annual Convention this past weekend in Duluth. We were honored to recognize some DAV members going above and beyond for Minnesota’s Veterans & their families.
Lyle C. Pearson Award (DAV’er of the Year) was awarded posthumously to Pat Shaw of DAV Chapter 6 Duluth – Gilbert W. Nordmann.
Pat’s family was on hand for the honor.
The Lyle C. Pearson Award is DAV Minnesota’s highest honor, named after Lyle Pearson, Past National Commander 1975, and wore many hats throughout his years with DAV Minnesota. Lyle and his wife Katherine were dedicated to serve the DAV and it’s mission until the end.
