Serving the Twin Cities Metro Area, Washington County, and Northwest Metro VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC)
Our team of volunteer drivers and staff pick up Veterans for appointments scheduled between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. (completed no later than 2:30pm) Monday – Friday. When the Veteran is done with their appointments, we ask that they check in at the DAV Transportation Office located at 1-S141 so we can arrange their ride home. We operate on a first come, first serve basis and fill up quickly, so Veterans are encouraged to schedule their rides as early as possible.
Our Metro Transportation Program has 11 vehicles available to get Veterans to get to their VA or referred appointments.

Meet your Metro Hospital Service Coordinator Gary Wagner!
Gary Wagner served in the Marine Corps Infantry for 4 years stationed in multiple locations in California. He lived in Boston, earning a degree from the University of Massachusetts prior to moving to Minnesota to start a family. He was hired by DAV of Minnesota in December 2018.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending quality time with his family, off-roading in his jeep with friends, photography, and volunteering with his church. He is known in his neighborhood as having one of the best yard displays for Halloween!
