2024 DAV Foundation Golf Classic

Last year, the DAV of Minnesota Foundation set an ambitious goal: to purchase two additional vehicles for the Transportation Program. This month, we took a major step to make that goal a reality…One of the vehicles was delivered to VA Medical Center, Minneapolis!

Thanks to your support, we’ve grown dramatically over the years. We now have 38 vehicles that serve 99% of the counties across the state of Minnesota. This year we are on track to transport over 22,000 veterans! This results in a cost savings of over 1.7 million dollars! The DAV of MN Transportation Program provides free transportation to Veterans in Minnesota to attend their VA medical appointments at four regional medical centers, or locally based clinics.

The DAV of Minnesota is proud of the critical connection that volunteer drivers provide to the Veterans they drive. This connection not only provides life-saving transportation, but also the benefit of a welcoming gateway in to the VA system.
Because of your generosity and support, we have able to increase the number of veterans we serve every single year. We don’t plan on slowing down, our goal for this year is purchase an additional vehicle!

We are pleased to announce our upcoming Golf Event, July 23, 2024. The Annual Golf Classic is the primary fundraiser dedicated to the DAV of Minnesota Transportation Program. The event will take place at Crystal Lake Golf Club, Lakeville, MN. We look forward to seeing you again this year!
