Twin Lakes Hike and Explore

Experience Twin Lakes Colorado pristine forests, rugged mountains, and spectacular lakes from the comfort of a local lodge. We will help you explore some of Twin Lakes most spectacular trails. This trip will be set up or hikers of all levels. Hikes will be selected based on the group’s ability level. The trails range from relatively flat to climbing tall mountains.

What to Expect

TERRAIN/ROUTE CHOICES: Twin Lakes is home to several mountain peaks including Mount Elbert the second highest summit in the contiguous US. It also has amazing lake views with several trails at the base of the mountains through the forest and around the lakes.

LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY: You will be hiking in varied terrain and weather conditions. No previous experience is needed to complete this trip.

WEATHER: Due to high elevations, temperatures in the summer months fluctuate. Temperatures change quickly. Depending on selected hikes temperatures can be very different when around the mountains.

WHERE YOU WILL SLEEP: At night, you will sleep in a house looking out at the mountains and over the lakes.
