This will be a great trip with lots of activities to do right at the house. We will complete daily hikes but afterwards you will have the option of mountain biking at the house, fly fishing the river in back or hiking some more on trails right behind the house. If you are feeling really adventurous you can jump in the kayaks and go for a paddle down the river.

This is a Hiking/Biking trip consisting of physical activities on unlevel ground!
What to Expect
TERRAIN/ROUTE CHOICES: Eureka Springs offers a wide range of hiking route options from moderate to difficult. Come prepared for all types of hikes but the group will select the trails to make sure we account for everyone’s abilities.
LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY: You will be hiking in varied terrain and weather conditions. No previous experience is needed to complete this trip.
WEATHER: Due to different elevations, temperatures in the summer months fluctuate from 35° F to over 100°. Temperatures change quickly throughout the day.
WHERE YOU WILL SLEEP: At night, we will sleep in a home just outside of town where we can enjoy the views from a distance as well as enjoy the local area.
MEDICATIONS: Please list all of your medications on your registration form.
Itinerary
Day 1:
You will be flown down to Fayetteville where you will be picked up by DAV of MN staff. You will then be transported to the house where we will be staying for the entire trip. You will be given the chance to settle in and get to know your fellow trip mates before we start our hikes.
Day 2:
For day two we will hike the Pivot rock trail for some great local views and the afternoon will be open for other options. 2 miles
Day 3:
For day three we will hike the Black Bass Lake trail around a local lake with some great picture opportunities and other local options around the house in the afternoon. 2 miles
Day 4:
For day four we complete a longer hike on the Miners rock Loop and then back to the house in the afternoon for more activities. 3 Miles
Day 5:
For day 5 we will pack up and head back to the airport to fly out and head back home.
