The Disabled American Veterans of Minnesota strives to provide Minnesota veterans in need with transportation to VA Medical Center appointments through our DAV Volunteer Transportation Program.
Who qualifies for transportation assistance?
Disabled veterans who are unable due to financial or medical hardship to secure transportation to their medical appointments in the St. Cloud and Twin Cities metro area.
Who to call if you live in the St. Cloud or Twin Cities metro area.
If you live in the Twin Cities metro area, call Lukas Johnson, hospital service and transportation coordinator, at 612.467.2768. Those in the St. Cloud metro area can call Stephanie Zeimetz, hospital service and transportation coordinator, at 320.252.1670, Ext. 6676.
Northeast Minnesota Transportation.
If you live in Northeastern Minnesota, please call the transportation coordinator Dan Welsand 218-204-0693 for transportation to a VA Medical Center.
Northwest Minnesota Transportation.
If you live in Northwestern Minnesota, please call the transportation coordinator Toll Free: 1-855-277-9787 for transportation to a VA Medical Center.

Wheaton—Fargo #1: Thursday
Wheaton—Fargo #2: Wednesday
Wheaton– St. Cloud #3: Monday
