St. Paul Chapter 2 Participated in 2015 Walleye Classic at Cabela’s

DAV MN St. Paul Chapter 2 was invited to participate in the Cabela’s WoodburyWalleye Classic on April 18, 2015. The walleye classic had a full line up of free seminars for the whole family as well as many great displays to check out. Industry celebrities and Pros held seminars, signed autographs and shared their knowledge in the Fishing Department. Further, several expert manufacturers’ representatives were also in-store.

Amongst the mix of fishing professionals and equipment vendors were several members of DAV St. Paul Chapter 2 including Col. Scott St.Sauver from Camp Ripley who displayed his boat explained Bob Erickson, Past Department Commander. He went on to say “Our chapter volunteers worked in shifts during the day long classic at our DAV booth giving out memorabilia such as key rings, green wrist bands and DAV fliers.” “Most important we were able to explain our dedication to a single purpose of empowering veterans to lead high-quality lives with respect and dignity.” “Several veterans were invited to attend a future Chapter 2 meeting as well as a few disabled veteran memberships were enrolled at the booth.” “DAV St. Paul Chapter 2, wishes to thank Woodbury Cabela’s for inviting our chapter to participate in the 2015 Walleye Classic.
