Covid-19 Measures

Thank you for your service to our country.  We are excited to gather with you at our Military Appreciation Family Day at the Farm.

In light of many new protocols required by the State of Minnesota, we are making you aware of the following information:

As with the transmission of any communicable disease like a cold or the flu, you may be exposed to COVID-19, also known as “Coronavirus,” at any time in any place. Be assured that we have a COVID Preparedness Plan in place and are following state and federal regulations and recommended universal personal protections and disinfection protocols to limit transmission of all diseases at Sutton Ridge Farm.

Despite our careful attention to cleanliness protocols, there is still a chance you could be exposed to an illness at this event, just as you might be at your gym, grocery store, favorite restaurant or any public place.  Washing with soap and running water is one of the best lines of defense against disease. As has been our practice for many years, we provide handwashing stations, as well as a shallow footwear disinfecting station.

Given the natural openness of a farm, physical distancing is very doable.

Considering these conditions and variables, do you accept the potential risk of attending? Yes /No

A weak or compromised immune system (including, but not limited to, conditions like diabetes, asthma, COPD, cancer treatment, radiation, chemotherapy, and any prior or current disease or medical condition), can put you at an increased risk for contracting COVID-19.

If you experience any of the following conditions associated with the COVID-19 virus within 14 days of attending this event (That is, if you are experiencing any of these symptoms after Sept 12, 2020), we ask that you not attend.

The following questions will be asked upon entry to the event.

Fever or above normal temperature?

Shortness of breath or trouble breathing?

A dry cough?

A runny nose?

A recent loss or a reduction in your sense of smell?

A sore throat?

Contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19?

Have you been tested for COVID-19 and are awaiting results?
