Central MN Transportation

Individual Program Description Central MN Transportation Program

The Central MN DAV Transportation Program serves ambulatory, non-wheelchair bound, veterans to and from medical appointments. The program incorporates vehicles stationed out of the St. Cloud VA as well as vehicles stationed in Buffalo, Brainerd and Milaca.

Out of the St. Cloud VA there are two vehicles assigned for medical appointment transportation and one vehicle for a daily run to the Adult Day Health Care program. These vehicles do not travel to the MSP VA due to a daily bus traveling from the STC VA to the MSP VA. The vehicles stationed in Wright and Mille Lacs County travel to both the STC VA and MSP VA as well as VA Choice appointments. To schedule a ride for any of these vehicles please call the Transportation Coordinator Stephanie at 320-252-1670 ext 6676. The vehicle stationed in Brainerd routinely travels to the Brainerd VA Clinic as well as the STC VA and is scheduled by the Crow Wing CVSO at 218-824-1058.

Central MN Service Area

These vehicles serve primarily Todd, Stearns, Morrison, Benton, Sherburne, Wright, Meeker, Crow Wing and Mille Lacs counties along with northern Kandiyohi and southwest Aitkin counties, dependent on need and availability. Veterans who border the listed counties may still qualify depending on availability if ample notice is given for appointments.
