MN Disabled American Veterans Elect New Leadership 2012-2013

The Disabled American Veterans (DAV) of MN elected new leadership at their State convention in St. Paul this past week.

Robert ( Bob ) Erickson of Woodbury was elected State Commander. Mr. Erickson has served as the St. Paul Chapter 2 Commander as well as other positions in the Department of MN DAV prior to his election as State Commander.

Other officers elected were:

Senior Vice Commander – Greg Peterson of New Ulm

1stJr. Vice Commander – Durbin Keeney of Duluth

2ndJr. Vice Commander – Chuck Haberle of Plymouth

3rdJr. Vice Commander – Gary Valtinson of Cohasset

4thJr. Vice Commander – Ken Kelley of St. Joseph

Judge Advocate – Van Karg of Dassel

Chaplain – Richard Jenkins of Newport

Past State Commander – David Valtinson of Grand Rapids

The DAV of MN has 18,000 members in the State of MN and has 32 Chapters across the State. Their purpose is to BUILD BETTER LIVES FOR AMERICAS DISABLED VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES.
